Planting & Care
1. Planting: Plant in an area with full to partial sun (4-8 hours of sunlight per day). Select a location with well-drained soil and dig a hole that’s large enough to accommodate your Maiden Grass root ball.
After you’ve planted, mulch the surrounding area and water to settle the roots.
2. Watering: Water weekly, or more often in extreme heat or drought. If you plant your Maiden Grass in containers, you’ll also want to water more frequently. Check the soil and water when soil is dry to the touch two inches down.
3. Pruning: Cut back your Maiden Grass in the winter to a height of about 6 inches, before new growth appears.
